St. Peter’s College of Ormoc, Inc. (SPC), established in 1914 by Rev. Fr. Ismael Cataag stands as Leyte’s oldest Catholic school and a prestigious bulwark of Christian education. For over 110 years, the institution has evolved from its origins as Colegio de Nuestra Sra. de Guadalupe into a premier center for learning that balances its rich historical legacy with a modern, global perspective.

Following a historic 94-year administration by the Missionary Benedictine Sisters, the college transitioned to the management of the Archdiocese of Palo in June 2024, ushering in a new era of academic distinction.
