St. Peter’s College of Ormoc is the first Catholic school established in Leyte since 1914. In 1930 the Missionary Benedictine Sisters of Tutzing came and managed then St. Peter’s Academy and thus, become a stronghold for Benedictine education in Region 8. An integrated school, SPC – Ormoc offers complete K to 12 basic education and 7 professional CHED accredited programs. True to its mission of providing holistic quality education, SPC-Ormoc stands strong and continues to adapt to the demands of time for over 100 years and will continue to do so in the decades to come.
